  22. You are right, NT requires huge amounts of RAM for overhead. I have a 
  23. 32meg workstation and only have 12meg free when fully running. You can 
  24. free up more by not making the system share drives with other systems.

  26. All in all I recommend 48meg for lightwave. Mine will be 64meg next 
  27. week.

  29. The paging VMem is much faster under NT than Win32's. NT lets you setup 
  30. multiple drive VMem files for 'stripping' so it can read and write to 
  31. mulptiple pageing files at the same time.
